Looking Back at 2014: The Year In Review

Crazy how quickly 2014 has gone by! It’s been an amazing year both personally and professionally and I can’t wait to see what 2015 brings. Having this blog is a really special way for me to look back at the year and see all that I have accomplished and what y’alls favorite posts were. Before I move forward I wanted to take a look back and bring you with me on the journey that was 2014.

Things I’m Proud of & Excited About

• held six Made In Mind events
• designed work that I’m really proud of including my first packaging design
• conquered a huge fear and spoke at Alt Summer
• launched my first ebook, The Meetup Guide
• opened a Creative Market shop
• continued to add items to my Etsy shop
• Traveled through Spain, France, Iceland and Maine
• helped launch BIZ magazine by designing their first two issues
• added consulting to my packages
• one of my DIY projects was featured in Times Square
• celebrated 5 years of blogging
• guest posted for Design Sponge, Hera Sport and Creative Market just to name a few
• featured on some amazing sites including Apartment Therapy, Good Housekeeping and Brit + Co.
• gave my site a facelift
• two of my friends got married and another bestie had a baby
• got engaged and started planning my wedding!!
