Pantone declared Tangerine as the color of 2012, but Mint seems to be taking over right now if you ask me. With Spring approaching, I have been daydreaming of breezy days in the sun and I realized that I really love tangerine and mint together… it is a fun, bright and energizing combination!
Two weeks ago my friends and I threw an awesome day-o-fun (shower & bachelorette party) celebrating Chelsea’s engagement! I had been collecting images on a Peacock Party pinboard and planning for months and it finally all came together. Here are some of my favorite inspirational images and I’ll be sharing the invites and fun event details soon!
I love using Pinterest to collect fashion related images. I don’t usually wear bold colors or patterns but in reviewing my style pinboard, it looks like I’m into brights and stripes this summer! If you do not have a natural fashion sense (which I am not gifted with), Pinterest can really help you visualize a personal style. I hope to keep this brights and stripes theme in mind next time I go shopping and liven up my wardrobe. What is your favorite summer look?
I’m sure most of you have heard of Pinterest, the highly addictive, social bookmarking system for images. If you are not familiar, think of Pinterest as a virtual inspiration board — a place where you can create collections of things you love and follow collections created by others.
People use Pinterest to collect and share all sorts of things. You name it, people are pinning it. Pins are categorized according to subject matter onto different boards. You can create any category you desire from home decor and design to science and nature. My boards, mostly art and design based, are shown below.
I have been having so much fun on Pinterest and want you to join in! If you need an invite check out my boards and pins, then leave a comment below of your favorite pin from one of my boards and your email address. I will send out as many invites as I can! If you are already on Pinterest leave a link below so I can check out your pins!
If you are still not quite sure what Pinterest is all about, Megan from Sorta Crunchy wrote a great post, Pinterest: A Beginner’s Guide with the low down.
