I love making cards for the holidays instead of buying them. A very simple one to make is the green Christmas tree card shown below.

Materials:
1 sheet white cardstock
1 sheet light green cardstock
1 sheet dark green cardstock
Ruler
Exacto Knife (scissors work if you do not want perfect edges)
Glue Stick

Directions:
1- Cut white card stock to 8 x 5.5″ and fold in half so that the card is 4 x 5.5
2- Cut 3 strips of dark green paper (3.25″, 2″ and 1″)
3- Cut 3 strips of light green paper (2.5″, 1.5″ and .5″)
4- Glue the green strips to your white card
5- Personalize your card with a message on the inside and you are done!
This size card fits into a standard A-2 envelope.
