These photographs from Lisa of Parrish House Photos make me want to live at the beach! Lisa shared, that in the past, she had always shied away from color photography, but boy am I glad she got over that! These color images are just gorgeous!
I have a deep love of teal, aqua and turquoise so you’ll find a lot of that reflected in my work. I’ve also spent a lot of time in southern California and you can see that influence in the sun-drenched feel of much of my recent work. – Lisa
Lisa does all of her own fine art printing on a velvet matte paper that creates prints with amazing tonal detail. Parrish House Photos is offering 30% off to Ciera Design readers when you use discount code “PHP30″ at her Etsy shop! I have been home in New Orleans for over two weeks and it has only been cold for one day. Even though I’m sitting here with the AC on, I can’t help to think of how to stay warm once I head back to Boston. This winter, I’d like to spend time bundled up, drinking tea and coffee and cooking lots of delicious things!
While writing my thanksgiving post I started thinking about how in grade school everyone used to exchange bracelets or necklaces as a sign of friendship. I have always loved the bright colors of friendship bracelets so I started looking through Etsy to see what was out there. Truthfully, I was not expecting to find so much awesomeness! I mean, look at these bracelets! I think these would make great gifts for any occasion, I want to get them for everyone I know! Do you have a favorite?
MOO is an online printing company that I absolutely love! They can print with your photos or designs stored on certain social sites or you can upload your images directly to MOO. My favorite thing is that printing with MOO means you have the option of a different image on each card or sticker!
Since not everyone out there is a designer (or has the time to create a custom design) I have created a variety of Thank You designs that use Moo templates! These work really well for sending out Thank You’s after a party or for your Etsy shop. You can send postcards or greeting cards, slip a minicard or notecard into a package and use the stickers on packages or to seal envelopes. So many options! You can download the design packages below, head on over to Moo, upload and customize before placing your order. Pick black or teal or both and use only what you like from the sets! One more thing to make this deal even better… if you follow the Moo links from this post you get 10% off your first order! You can also download and print yourself!

I have really been into vintage shops on Etsy lately. A new favorite is Three Ponds Vintage & Design. Elisha sells a mix of handmade accessories, vintage housewares and home decor—it’s a one stop shop! I am loving all of the Autumn colored items she has in the shop right now.
I came across Campfire Chic’s Etsy shop last month right after one of my camping trips. In 2010 Kam started an Etsy shop with a few bits of ribbon and some wooden postcards. In just one year it has turned into a shop full of adorable camp-themed items! She now sells embroidery patterns, darling cross-stitched goods and notebooks inspired by her camping adventures, hikes and backpacking trips. Campfire Chic items make a perfect gift for nature lovers looking for a crafty hobby or a decorative piece for your own home!
Kam also shares her camping adventure stories on her Campfire Chic blog! All images from Campfire Chic.
