Rose Crescent is a New Orleans based software design company that provides world-class business-focused, goal-oriented systems with exceptional quality, stability and usability. The name of the company was inspired by Rose Crescent, a street in Cambridge, England and the city of New Orleans, which is also known as The Crescent City. The goal was to create an identity that is clean and simple as well as references the origin of the name and conveys the utility and reliability of the brand. The crescent petals scattered in an irregular way on the business card give a sense of the logo being a solution to a scattered problem.
Each month a mailer was sent out including a recipe card along with Corporate
Realty’s real estate transactions from the month. The theme for 2010 focused
on Chef Frank Stitt’s fresh ingredients and recipes from his Alabama restaurants.
I got to work on a very special project last month. A fundraising project for Michele who is participating in Team In Training for the 2010 Nike Women’s Marathon. Team In Training’s mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
The package that I designed includes a card telling Michele’s story and why this cause is important to her, along with a reply card and envelope to accept donations. These items were mailed in a chartreuse policy envelope. I also designed thank you note cards to be mailed out after the event with space for a special note to each contributor.

The Young Leadership Council has maintained its tradition of highlighting 25 members of the community each year since its inception in 1986. Role Models are selected each year by a committee comprised of past Role Model honorees and members of the YLC’s Board of Directors.
Honorees have distinguished themselves by: promoting a positive attitude and an unyielding desire to enhance the quality of life in our community; striving to unite our community in collaborative efforts for its future prosperity; serving as an exemplary role model to young talent in the community; taking an effective and vigorous leadership role in the community; and/or making significant contributions in their specific fields of endeavor. For Mother’s Day my sister and I gave my mom a Wine of the Month gift. But instead of buying it from an online store, we decided to do it ourselves. I designed the gift card and a tag that goes on each bottle of wine. We also gave her a card so that she can write down all of the wines to remember her favorites.
